SlimURL processes account email addresses and hashed passwords to provide accounts. For link analytics it records time, device category, optional country (when supplied by the proxy), referring website host and a rotating one-way visitor hash derived from network and browser data. Raw visitor IP addresses are not stored in the analytics database. Unique visitor counts are approximate and reset daily. Hosting/server access logs may separately record IP addresses.
External QR generation opens a third-party service (api.qrserver.com), which receives the short URL and may process connection data. Do not use this feature for confidential URLs.
